how can you make a barbie doll wig?

im making a mermaid melody luchia doll from scratch off an old barbie and i need to know how to make a wig .

There are a couple of ways to do this. One way is to get an inexpensive wig as your hair source, and using a very fine crochet hook, poke the hair into the barbie head. then add a tiny dot of glue to hold it in place. you can create an actual wig for barbie by using a piece of nylon stocking, Shape it into the shape you want for Barbie’s head. Then, using the crochet hook, insert some hair into the stocking. once you have the amount of hair you want, glue the stocking wig cap onto Barbie’s head and style. This is fragile, but it will work for a display doll
You can also use mohair to create a hair style.
